For me, landscape photography is both challenging and fun.  I am always discovering new locations and learning new  photographic techniques.

Cindy and I have called Chicago and Portland Oregon home over the years.  Living in Portland meant that within 1-2 hours we could be at the Pacific coast, any of 4 mountains, hiking trails through old growth forests, waterfalls along the historic Columbia River Gorge or take in the views at any one of the more than 200 vineyards in the Willamette Valley.   We were truly living in a photographers playground.

My current tool set includes Lightroom, Photoshop and a full frame Canon 6D Mark II camera with 100mm Macro, 16-35 wide angle, 24-70 zoom and 70-300 zoom lenses.

As a photographer I focus on landscape, night and macro photography.   Over 200 photos are represented on this photography site.  I have included many links below that will take you to various web sites that will provide additional information on some of the places that we have discovered and photographed along the way.
